Maritime Career Discovery Day
Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This free event is designed for high school students in grades 9–11 and aims to support workforce development in the maritime industry. Modeled after a trade show, the program will feature tables set up throughout the museum’s event spaces where representatives from maritime companies, training centers, and government agencies can engage directly with students. There is no cost to participate in the event.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Share information about career paths within their organizations
Discuss job requirements, skills, and coursework needed for success
Highlight salaries, benefits, and advancement opportunities
We believe that the event will be an excellent opportunity to connect with future talent while promoting careers in the maritime sector.
