The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico is the only museum in the world dedicated to the rich history and traditions of the Gulf of Mexico. The Container Ship

As guests enter the Museum, they stand at the base of a towering replica of a container ship. Most of the Museum’s exhibits are housed inside this full-sized container ship. The ship commemorates the development of “containerization,” a revolutionary idea that changed global trade forever.
