Our Spaces

Grand Rotunda

For an event space like no other, the Museum’s Rotunda provides a view of the river, access to the river front, fun interactive display highlighting the rich heritage of the Gulf of America and easy access to our galley and kitchen.

Riverfront Promenade

The Promenade offers flexible outdoor space for up to four hundred, unobstructed views of the city and river and an unforgettable location. Ideal for large corporate events, the big family reunion or a celebration with style, the Riverfront Promenade blends the tranquility of the waterfront with downtown energy.

Port City Room

The Port City Room features a panoramic view of the Mobile River and the city skyline. Complete with a large balcony for guests and a staging area for your caterer, this space is ideal for any type of larger gathering. With a flexible capacity of up to 185 seated or receptions up to 225, Port City is a venue with a view.

Riverside Room

Serving up to 60 guests seated or 110 reception style, The Riverside Room features a sweeping view of the Mobile River that is perfect for an elegant dinner, wedding shower, birthday celebration or a corporate event. Add one of our audio-visual packages to enhance your meeting with video, sound or projection.

Conference Room

When you need a convenient place for an offsite meeting or planning session, the Museum’s Boardroom gives you space with a relaxing view of the river. Amenities include comfortable chairs, conference phone, projection screen, 50” monitor, and video conferencing capabilities. Your team of up to twenty-four can enjoy productive solitude or remote collaboration.

Skyline Suite

This space is the perfect medium-sized room for groups larger than 80 and smaller than 130. Great for small-to-medium conferences, gatherings or special events, this room also features a separate flexible use room and a kitchenette.

Gulf Theater

Film screenings, presentations that sizzle or speaking engagements—the Gulf Theatre is perfect for wowing your audience. Connect to our theatre-grade screen and audio to captivate your audience. Impress your guests with this cinematic space that’s a delight for the eyes and ears.

Classroom

Just because your guests need to learn doesn’t mean they need to settle. Our Classroom offers an engaging view of downtown Mobile, and can divide into two smaller rooms when you need less space or simultaneous sessions.

Reception Areas

These areas are great as supplemental spaces for our meeting rooms or as transitional spaces when renting multiple rooms.

Entire Museum

Offer a captivating experience that includes up to five meeting rooms, a gorgeous lobby, a 75-seat theater and a five-floor museum. Your guests can enjoy everything the Maritime Museum offers: spectacular views, unique event spaces and interactive exhibits that educate and delight. Make your event fun, unique and unforgettable.

Deck 1

Deck 1 offers flexible space in the heart of our maritime museum. With a seated capacity of 120 and stunning river and downtown views, this room perfectly balances function and form for private or business events.

Shores of the Gulf

Museum and meeting space converge in this unique setting where Gulf of America artifacts adorn the walls and regional songs delight the ears. An intimate spot for smaller gatherings where a memorable space is needed, this area also offers transitional access to the museum.
